I absolutely care and you will find that my Twitter feed and Twitter likes are porn-free and naturist appropriate. We can each only be responsible for our own actions, and have no control over the actions or opinions of others. One person's naturism may be another person's pornography. Personally, I remove followers with explicit content or whose likes reflect a more X-rated interest. I choose to remove them rather than block them. I try to lead by example with my content and try to illustrate the non-sexual naturist philosophy. It is a constant task to maintain and curate my profile, but I believe it is worth the effort to keep the content in line with my philosophy. I dislike the term "genuine naturist" as I feel it introduces division and judgement on others, something that runs against the inclusive ideals of naturism. I would prefer it if people didn't use the term naturist to hide behind when their interest is more voyeuristic or X-rated, but I can't be responsible for the behaviour of others. For me, non-sexual nudity is part of my naturist philosophy, with my sex life and activity being a private matter between me and my partner.
In answer to your question, I think some people care enough, but for the majority, I fear your words will fall on deaf ears.
